Jumps, colors, stunts, and music. The 2023 European Cheerleading Championships closed in Verona, in the AGSM conference tent beside the Bentegodi stadium.

The European Cheerleading Championship, one of the most important events in the world of cheerleaders, took over Verona last week with 3,500 participants, from June 30 to July 2. Cheerleading, according to Newsweek magazine, is one of the most popular sports in the world, with over 1.5 million athletes (excluding millions of schools and universities). As well as a sport, it is a status symbol, with hundreds of competitions worldwide in which girls and guys combine jumps, dance steps, artistic gymnastics elements, and stunning positions.

On June 29, the event also held the much-anticipated General Assembly of the European Federation, when 70 delegates set the parameters for future cheering legislation.
