Tomorrow, Sunday, May 7, the thirty-second edition of Cologna in Fiore, the most colorful market exhibition in Verona. In an instagrammable location, a series of events to raise awareness of the care and respect for nature.   

In addition to the magnificent place, the city organizes every year a series of events that aim to educate about environmental respect. And this year, the novelties include the presence of beekeepers, master basket makers and bonsai enthusiasts. The Regional Association of Beekeepers of Veneto will reveal the secrets of the world of bees while a schoolteacher will make a demonstration on the art of interweaving. There will also be an exhibition dedicated to bonsai lovers to understand the proper care. Adults and children will then be accompanied in the magical world of wooden games with which they can experience new ways to have fun.   

At 11 the official inauguration of the thirty-second edition in the Sala Consigliare, preceded by “Un albero per ogni nato” – “A tree for every born” -, a ten-year tradition of the town of Cologna. 59 plants, martens or hornbeams, will be donated to the children of Cologna born last year to sensitize the new generations about the respect of nature.   

Cologna will also accompany the discovery of local food and wine products. For lunch and dinner, the gastronomy in via Chioggiano will propose some of the best local dishes and in the afternoon there will be a free tasting of the cake “maxi fiore”, offered by the historic pastry shops Bisognin and Bertolini.   

Always in the afternoon there the event Sinfonia Floreale – Floral Symphonies -. The group Il salterello danza storica of Mirandola (Modena) will entertain with dances in dresses of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. While from 14 the Circolo noi arcobaleno will celebrate the Mother’s Day at the youth centre.
