AMIA (Azienda Multiservizi di Igiene Ambientale di Verona) has created a waste dictionary Italian – English and a multilingual awareness campaign (Italian – English – French – Romanian – Arabic – Chinese – Hindi) to better communicate with all communities in the Verona area.

AMIA’s intention with this new waste dictionary is to provide a useful tool to further refine the domestic management of differentiated waste. The booklet, in fact, contains an alphabetical list of everyday objects, indicating for each item the correct form of disposal. Citizens of Verona are well aware that separate waste collection is fundamental for the respect and protection of the environment and for improving the quality of life, not only our own but above all that of future generations.
