The iconic National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), an American professional wrestling company that has made history in this discipline, is coming to Bovolone, a Municipality of Verona. The “Notte dei Campioni” (“Night of Champions”) event will be held on Saturday, July 7th, at 8:00 p.m. in the Palazzetto delle Muse, Piazzale Aldo Moro. The worldwide wrestling stars will fight in a three-way match: former WWE wrestler Elias, world champion EC3, who will defend his title for the first time on Italian territory, and Bolognese athlete Red Scorpion, who is already the European champion in the discipline.

If Red Scorpion wins the belt, he would become the third Italian to do so, following in the footsteps of the legendary Bruno Sammartino, who never defended the title on Italian territory. They will not, however, be alone; other prominent figures in the discipline will be there, including Cristiano Argento (a wrestler from the Marche region who moved to the United States), King Danza (a wrestler and actor who has cooperated with the Manetti Bros), and many others.

The event is organized in collaboration with Wrestling Megastars, a Bolognese entity very active in the European panorama, and the much-anticipated main event of the evening will be refereed by Veronese Jhonny Puttini: “I have worked hard with Wrestling Megastars to bring this exclusive event to Verona, and I thank those who have made all of this possible. It will be the most wonderful night of my professional life, as arbitrating the world championship is not something that happens every day, and I am delighted that it is taking place in my home country.”
