Many are the novelties of the Palio del Chiaretto, which, for the 19th year, returns to colour Bardolino’s lakefront pink with wine, food and wine stands, music, and lots of entertainment. From 31 May to 2 June, there will be seventeen points of sale and tasting, along with dozens of events such as concerts, itinerant music, and crafts, as well as as as many excursions as the days of the event, all to discover the Lake Garda area. But the undisputed protagonists will be Bardolino Chiaretto Classico and Spumante Doc wines.

Among the novelties is a new tasting kit that this year will feature glass goblets suitable for tasting the wines on offer. As always, it will also include the iconic pink glass holder, a kit sold at all participating stands at a cost of 5 euros. Popular price of 2.5 euros per tasting token.

Food and wine stands, from hors d’oeuvres to dessert, indoors under the marquee, for lunch and dinner. There are three menus to choose from, but also many typical dishes, including delicacies based on fish from the lake, cold meats and cheeses, and traditional first courses, some delicacies to be tasted. Such as the pink gnocchi, free-range chicken in saor with soft pink polenta or the Valeggio sul Mincio ‘Riviera’ tortelli with robiola, ricotta, Monte Veronese cheese and Garda lemon powder. Also popular are the cocktails designed for the occasion: cocktail d’Amore, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and the Chiarè.
