The Summer and Peach Festival will open on Thursday, 27 July at 9 pm with a concert by the Corpo Bandistico Città di Bussolengo in Piazza XXVI Aprile in Bussolengo. The same square will host a musical evening on Friday 28 with Area 80 and “Le Migliori Hit Dance Anni 80”. Saturday 29 sees the return of one of the most eagerly awaited appointments: an evocative dinner under the stars with a long table, held for the first time in Via De Gasperi, in the Municipality of Bussolengo far from the city of Verona, just 15 minutes by car, during which the participants will be able to taste the specialities of a menu based entirely on local peaches, from the starter to the dessert, which this year will be a peach tiramisu. The dinner will be accompanied by the music of the violin duo “Note dal vivo“. Places for the dinner are limited, and tickets, subject to availability, can be purchased online or at Bar 110 in Piazza XXVI Aprile or the Castioni tobacconist’s near the Porte dell’Adige. The price is twenty-five euros for adults, fifteen euros for children up to the age of 12. The evening will continue with a concert by the Larry Band with international covers and Italian pop and rock music.
On Sunday 30 July at the fruit and vegetable market in Via Molinara at 10.30 am, the authorities will gather for the official inauguration of the 49th Exhibition of peaches, a symbolic fruit and excellence of the territory, which will host an exhibition of local producers. At the same time as the exhibition, there will be a painting and sculpture exhibition featuring the works of local artists. Sunday morning will then continue with the award ceremony for the Bussolengo Fiorito competition, ending at 12.30 p.m. with an aperitif, naturally with the scent of peaches. On Sunday will also take place: the ‘International Guitar and Harp Festival‘, which from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. will delight the public in the evocative setting of Villa Spinola. The Festival, under the artistic direction of Monica Bulgarelli, offers concerts and workshops with internationally renowned artists such as Federico Franciosi Ciosi, Adriano Sangineto, Janek Pentz, Andrea Valeri and Marianna Blinova.
On Monday 31 July, there will be a concert by Mito’s Pop Symphony Orchestra, under the artistic direction of Lino Venturini, an eagerly awaited appointment hosted by the Mercato Ortofrutticolo at 9 pm.
From 16 to 20 August, the summer continues with the San Rocco Music Festival with a five-concert evening dedicated to Italian and international singer-songwriters: on 16 August Little Train Band “Viaggio Musicale tra America e Italia”, on 17 August Giuliana Bergamaschi, Stefano Benini, Gianni Tomazzoni “L’Avventura di Lucio”, on 18 August Deborah Kooperman and Federico Fuggini “Women in song”, on 19 August SmogMagica “Tu chiamale se vuoi. ..” and on 20 August Manuel Malo’ Band “Ma come fanno i marinai”. On all evenings there will be food and wine stands.
