(Angelo Paratico) Vintage Fe is a hidden gem in the heart of Verona, at 62/A Via Marconi. Here you will find paintings, designer objects, furniture, and branded clothing and bags at a fraction of their true value. The two brothers, Felice and Luigi Nappi, run this shop with grace and courtesy, assisted by the fascinating Malena. They opened in 2019, shortly before the arrival of the dreaded Covid, but managed to overcome even that difficult obstacle.

Felice Nappi, the Boss

There is no better place to spend half an hour in peace and relax your mind while admiring beauty and the past brought together in a sort of art gallery. It is very difficult to leave empty-handed, as there are many temptations and the prices are reasonable. All in all, they perform an ecological service by recovering goods and clothes, recycling them so that, instead of ending up in the rubbish, they come back to life.

A few months ago, I found a small painting by Romano Mussolini depicting the Rocca delle Caminate, near Predappio. I then used that image for a book published by my publishing house, Gingko Edizioni, for the republication of the memoirs of Edvige Mussolini, aunt of the artist and sister of…Him. Of course, this is not a place for paninari, but for those who know history, who love the Verona of yesteryear, and who can recognize elegance and good taste, wherever they may be hidden.

Malena, taking care of fashion items

This shop will certainly not compete with more prestigious and elegant stores, but it exudes an air of authenticity that is no longer so widespread, and for this reason it deserves to be rewarded and preserved – at least with a visit.
