The Marmomac exhibition, held at Veronafiere headquarter (26 – 29 September), has concluded, solidifying its position as the global hub for the stone market. The exhibition spanned four days and encompassed 12 pavilions and 3 outdoor areas, covering over 76,000 square metres. A record-breaking international presence was evident, with 68.5% of the 1,507 exhibitors coming from abroad, representing 54 countries. The event was attended by accredited buyers from 138 countries. The successful international turnout was the result of extensive preparation and collaboration between VeronaFiere, the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Italian embassies and consulates around the world.

The 57th edition of Marmomac saw significant numbers, with over 51,000 attendees, a 10% increase from the previous year. Foreign visitors also increased by 15%, constituting 66% of the total. Notably, there was strong attendance from the Americas, particularly the United States, Canada, and Brazil, as well as a resurgence of interest from China and high participation from European countries like Germany, Spain, and France. The focus was on promoting product culture and professional training through dedicated pavilions. Going forward, Veronafiere’s stone sector exhibition calendar includes the Vitória Stone Fair in Brazil and the next edition of Marmomac in Verona in 2024.
