A new space designed to redefine the concept of relaxation is opening at Aquardens, the largest thermal park in Italy. It is called “Oasi del Deserto” and it expands the experience of the Sauna Village with a setting conceived to combine wellbeing, gastronomy and atmosphere into a single, immersive environment.
Set just outside Verona, in the hills of Valpolicella (Pescantina) and within easy reach of Lake Garda, Aquardens is already a destination for both Italian and international visitors seeking thermal wellness. The new Desert Oasis adds another layer to that appeal, introducing a refined lounge area of more than 380 square metres indoors and 160 outdoors, open from midday until closing time.
The space is designed for flexibility and comfort: guests can move between tables, sofas and chaise longues, staying in their bathrobes and choosing how to experience the moment whether as a quiet pause, a social break or a post-sauna recovery ritual.
Food and drink play a central role. The offering ranges from sushi prepared by specialist chefs to desserts and seasonal dishes inspired by the local territory, complemented by a curated selection of infusions, extracts, wines and signature cocktails. A visible kitchen adds a performative dimension, with moments of live preparation that enhance the overall sensory experience.
Particular attention is given to tea and botanical culture, developed in collaboration with tea expert Albino Ferri. From rare white teas sourced in Yunnan to blends inspired by the Garda area—such as the “Colazione del Garda” with certified local lemon peel—the beverage menu becomes part of a broader narrative linking global traditions with local identity.
According to the park’s management, the Desert Oasis represents a further step in positioning Aquardens not only as a thermal destination but as a place capable of offering a continuous, high-quality experience throughout the entire stay. The goal is to create an environment where guests can “slow down, regenerate and enjoy their time” completing the wellness journey with carefully designed food and relaxation moments.
