The Villa Cordevigo Gaudenzia, a Chiaretto di Bardolino Classico DOC 2019 from Lake Garda’s Veronese side, has been crowned the Best Rosé Wine in the World. The vineyard was awarded the prestigious Grand Gold Medal as the International Revelation Rosé Wine of the Year at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, where it competed against 1,205 other brands.

Gaudenzia is a Bardolino Chiaretto that ages in steel on yeasts for a long period of time, allowing it to acquire more self-expression and reveal a distinct depth and character. It is made from the renowned Corvina grape and ripens with elegance, resulting in exceptional complexity and aromatic richness.

Tiziano Delibori and Franco Cristoforetti, owners of Vigneti Villabella, which includes Tenuta Villa Cordevigo, state, “The prestigious recognition of the Grand Gold Medal at the CMB as International Revelation Rosé Wine of the Year celebrates not only the excellence of our wine but also our team’s constant commitment to quality and respect for the territory. It is a long-standing project, and we have always believed in the exceptional potential of Bardolino grapes for rosé wine production.”
