BUSSOLENGO, Italy — Bussolengo is set to celebrate the summer season with a packed programme of music, local food and cultural traditions. The town’s summer calendar opens on 18 July with the White Night (Notte Bianca) and concludes on 16 August with the San Rocco Music Festival.
Highlights include the Summer Festival from 23 to 27 July and the Intermunicipal Peach Exhibition on 1 August, organised in partnership with the neighbouring municipality of Pescantina. Events will take place across the historic town centre, Piazza 26 Aprile and Villa Spinola, featuring concerts, live performances, guided tours and initiatives celebrating Bussolengo‘s agricultural heritage.
White Night launches the season
The festivities begin on 18 July with the annual White Night, when the historic centre will come alive with live entertainment, music, food stalls and extended opening hours for local businesses.
The event is organised with the support of the Municipal Council for Productive Activities, Commerce and Agriculture, the Pro Loco, the “La Rosa di San Valentino – Eternamore” Shopping District, and a wide network of local associations.
The Summer Festival officially opens on 23 July at 9 p.m. in Piazza 26 Aprile with a concert by the Bussolengo City Wind Band. The following evening, the Al-B.Band will take to the stage for an evening of live music.
Tradition takes centre stage
On 25 July, visitors can enjoy a full programme of events beginning at 6 p.m. with Pagus Pictus, a guided tour of the churches of San Valentino and San Rocco, organised by CTG El Vissinel APS.
At 8 p.m., the popular “Profumo di Pesca – Dinner in Piazza Nuova” returns, one of Bussolengo’s signature summer events. The open-air dinner will showcase the town’s renowned Bussolengo IGP peach, accompanied by a circus performance from Mosaico Errante featuring the Ukrainian quartet Dekru.
From 10 p.m., Piazza 26 Aprile will transform once again for the Radio Adige Show, with live DJs providing the soundtrack to the evening.

The celebrated IGP peach will also be the star of the Intermunicipal Peach Exhibition a few days later.
“The Peach Exhibition and the Profumo di Pesca dinner tell the story of Bussolengo’s agricultural identity and highlight the value of our local produce,” said Councillor Giovanni Amantia. “They offer an opportunity to showcase the work of our local producers while strengthening the connection between tradition, sustainability and the promotion of local excellence.”
On 26 July, celebrations resume at 8.30 p.m. with the awards ceremony for Bussolengo Fiorito, a competition recognising the care and beautification of private gardens and urban spaces.
At 9 p.m., the spotlight shifts to Belle Voci di Verona, featuring performances by emerging singers alongside established local artists.
The Summer Festival concludes on 27 July at Villa Spinola with the conference “Verona and its IGP Products: A Winning Four of a Kind”, dedicated to the province’s protected geographical indication products. Throughout the festival, visitors will also be able to enjoy food and wine stalls serving traditional dishes and locally sourced products.
From peaches to the San Rocco Music Festival
Following the Summer Festival, attention turns to the Intermunicipal Peach Exhibition on 1 August, a long-established event jointly organised with Pescantina.
From 6 p.m., the finest local peaches will be displayed along Piazza 26 Aprile and Via Mazzini. The evening programme continues from 9 p.m. with a DJ set by Alain Deejay and a live performance by the Idea Fissa Live Band, featuring Italian and international hits spanning the 1970s through the 1990s.
The summer calendar concludes on 16 August with the San Rocco Music Festival, where the traditional Mass in honour of the patron saint, food stalls and live music will once again draw residents and visitors to Piazza 26 Aprile.
“We want to offer high-quality events while promoting our heritage, our traditions and the work of so many local organisations,” said Mayor Roberto Brizzi. “It is an invitation to experience the town, rediscover its public spaces and enjoy moments of celebration together with the local community and the many visitors who choose Bussolengo as a summer destination.”
